VibeScout is a music-discovery application designed to help users discover artists and music using online music-information services. We respect your privacy and aim to collect as little information as possible.

VibeScout does not require users to create an account and does not directly collect personal information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, payment information, contacts, photographs, microphone recordings, or precise location data.
Information Stored on Your Device
VibeScout may save favorite artists and app preferences locally on your device. This information is used to provide app features and is not transmitted to VibeScout's developer.
Third-Party Music Services
VibeScout uses third-party music-information services, including Last.fm and MusicBrainz, to retrieve artist information, recommendations, images, tags, biographies, and related music data.
Search terms and technical network information, such as an IP address, may be processed by these third-party services when the app makes a request. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
Advertising
The current version of VibeScout does not display advertisements and does not use advertising identifiers.
Data Sharing and Sales
VibeScout does not sell users' personal information. VibeScout does not share locally stored favorites or preferences with the developer or other companies.
Data Retention and Deletion
Locally stored favorites and preferences remain on your device until they are removed through the app, cleared through your device settings, or deleted when the app is uninstalled.
Children's Privacy
VibeScout is not directed toward children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security
Reasonable measures are used to limit data collection. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
